About the Role

This is a full-time Associate Veterinarian position at a well-established, multi-doctor companion animal practice that's been caring for pets in the Greater Hamilton area for nearly 50 years. Located on the outskirts of Waterdown, Clappison offers convenient highway access, making your commute easy from Guelph, Hamilton, Dundas, Burlington, or the GTA. The clinic is Feline Friendly Silver certified and equipped with four exam rooms, digital radiography with dental capability, a two-table surgery suite, and a spacious doctor's office designed for team collaboration. You'll be paired with your own technician, creating a consistent, supportive working relationship.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality companion animal medical and surgical care
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and client education
• Collaborate with the experienced veterinary team on clinical cases and hospital operations
• Maintain detailed medical records and follow-up documentation
• Participate in community engagement and animal welfare outreach initiatives
• Contribute to a positive, supportive workplace culture

Requirements

• Provincial DVM licensing or eligibility to obtain licensure in Ontario
• Passion for veterinary medicine and commitment to quality patient care
• Strong communication and client education skills
• Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude
• Desire to build lasting client relationships
