About the Role
This is your chance to practice emergency medicine on your terms. Port City Emergency Veterinary Hospital and Capital City Emergency Veterinary Hospital are offering one exceptional veterinarian the flexibility to choose between two dynamic locations in New Brunswick—both built with modern ER practice in mind.
You'll work a 4-on/4-off rotational schedule (8am–8pm, 12pm–12am, or 8pm–8am shifts), giving you genuine time off to rest and recharge. The hospitals are staffed with large teams of doctors—9 at each location—so you're never flying solo. Experienced technicians and support staff handle day-to-day tasks, freeing you to focus on medicine, patient care, and meaningful client interactions. A board-certified surgeon at the Fredericton location performs advanced procedures like TPLOs and fracture repairs, creating excellent learning opportunities. Whether you're a seasoned ER vet, a new graduate launching your career, or a general practitioner eager to transition into emergency medicine, both hospitals provide strong mentorship and guidance in a supportive, high-paced environment.
