Emergency Veterinarian
Ready for emergency medicine with a team that actually values your well-being? VCA Victoria offers state-of-the-art tech, mentorship culture, and flexible scheduling—plus full-time benefits on a 30-hour week.
Work Schedule
Overnight rotations are required as part of a scheduled shift pattern. This is a scheduled 30–40 hour per week position with overnight shifts built into the rotation, not standby on-call duty.
About the Role
VCA Canada Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital is looking for an Emergency Veterinarian to join a collaborative team dedicated entirely to emergency and critical care. You'll work with cutting-edge technology—CT, ultrasound, in-house labs, digital radiography—alongside on-site specialists, giving you the tools to practice high-quality, efficient care and genuinely help your patients.
The schedule requires overnight rotations, but the hospital prioritizes work-life balance with flexible scheduling and a compact 30-hour full-time workweek. You'll mentor junior staff, manage complex cases, and communicate clearly with your team, clients, and referring veterinarians in a high-performing environment built on teamwork.
