You'll join a team as a Mixed Animal Veterinarian, working full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling. This is true mixed practice: small animal, large animal, equine, ambulatory, and emergency work that keeps your skills sharp and your days interesting. You'll be fully equipped for ambulatory work, supported by modern diagnostics across all sites, and backed by a team that has your back. Available to start May 1st.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mixed animal veterinary care across small animal, large animal, equine, and ambulatory services
- Conduct emergency and routine clinical work with modern diagnostic support
- Work collaboratively within a multi-site practice environment
- Maintain clinical autonomy while contributing to a supportive team culture
Requirements
- Valid veterinary licence to practise in Ontario
- Experience or willingness to work across mixed animal disciplines

About the Practice
Smiths Falls Veterinary Services is a privately owned, multi-site mixed practice with three locations, nine veterinarians, five ambulatory units, and a close-knit team of around 30 staff. The practice is built on mentoring, collaboration, and sustainable career development. New graduates are genuinely supported, and experienced vets are trusted to practise with autonomy and clinical freedom. This is rural practice with modern standards and a long-term vision.
