About the Role

As an RVT, you'll assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures, using diagnostic equipment, preparing patients and instruments, and administering and monitoring medications under clinical direction. Beyond clinical skills, you'll build positive client relationships by demonstrating genuine care and respect—the practice values communication and compassionate patient care as much as technical excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures
- Operate diagnostic equipment and prepare patients, instruments, and surgical equipment
- Administer and monitor medications under veterinary direction
- Build and maintain positive client relationships through exceptional customer service and genuine care
- Collaborate with experienced RVTs, veterinary assistants, and client care staff in a communication-focused environment
- Support clinical excellence and evidence-based patient care
Requirements
- Passed the VTNE or eligible to write the VTNE
- In good standing with the provincial regulatory association (Ordre des technologues en santé animale du Québec)
- Successfully completed a 2- or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technician Diploma Program
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient care, professional growth, and collaborative teamwork
