About the Role

Martin Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join a welcoming, collaborative team that's been trusted in the Etobicoke community for over seven decades. This is a part-time opportunity where you'll work alongside experienced RVTs, veterinary assistants, and client care staff who genuinely respect each other and communicate openly — a rarity in veterinary medicine.

You'll assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures, using a range of diagnostic equipment, prepping patients and instruments for surgery, and administering and monitoring medications. Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures
• Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment
• Prepare patients, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures
• Administer and monitor medications under veterinary direction
• Build positive client relationships through genuine care, compassion, and exceptional customer service
• Maintain professional standards and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) designation in Ontario, or eligible to write the VTNE
• Successfully completed a 2- or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program
• In good standing with the provincial regulatory association
• Genuine care and compassion for clients and their pets
• Strong communication and customer service skills
