Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on RVT care in urgent and emergency settings, assisting veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures
• Prepare patients, instruments, and equipment for surgery; administer and monitor medications under veterinary supervision
• Operate diagnostic equipment and support the clinical team with technical expertise
• Build positive client relationships through genuine care, compassion, and exceptional customer service
• Lead and mentor the veterinary team; contribute to culture-building and operational improvements
• Participate in scheduling, staffing coordination, and day-to-day operational management

Requirements

• Current RVT registration with the provincial regulatory association (Ontario), or eligible to write the VTNE
• Completed a 2- or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and comfort stepping into a management-adjacent role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced urgent care/emergency environment
