Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive veterinary nursing care for small animal patients, including exotics
- Assist veterinarians with surgical and medical procedures
- Perform laboratory work, radiography, and patient monitoring
- Handle patient care, restraint, and comfort measures
- Support client communication and patient discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinic cleanliness standards
Requirements
- Valid RVT registration or equivalent veterinary technician credential
- 1+ year of veterinary technician experience (preferred)
- Interest in small animal care, particularly exotic species
- Ability to reliably commute to Toronto or plan to relocate
- Compassionate, team-oriented approach to animal care
