About the Role

You'll be the backbone of Vancouver Veterinary Hospital's clinical operations — building genuine connections with clients while delivering exceptional care to their pets. Working alongside experienced RVTs and veterinary assistants, you'll assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures, manage diagnostic equipment, prepare patients and instruments for surgery, and administer medications under veterinary direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures
• Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment
• Prepare patients, instruments, and surgical equipment
• Administer and monitor medications under veterinary supervision
• Build positive client relationships through genuine care, respect, and exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with the broader team (RVTs, assistants, client care staff) in a supportive clinical environment

Requirements

• Passed the VTNE or eligible to write the VTNE
• In good standing with the BC provincial regulatory association
• Successfully completed a 2- or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program
