Key Responsibilities

• Lead soft tissue surgical procedures and preventative care initiatives
• Provide nutritional advice and counsel to pet parents
• Coach and mentor veterinary students along their DVM journey
• Promote team-based medicine practices within the hospital
• Build strong relationships with colleagues, pet parents, and the community
• Attend conferences and network with veterinary colleagues

Requirements

• Valid full veterinarian licence to practise in Canada
• 3+ years of experience in soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and nutritional guidance
• Demonstrated passion for coaching and mentoring students
• Strong interpersonal skills with colleagues, clients, and community members
• Commitment to team-based medicine practices
• Interest in professional development through conferences and networking
• Love for all companion animals
