About the Role

Bayview Hill Animal Hospital is looking for a compassionate, highly motivated veterinarian to join their established small animal practice in Richmond Hill. You'll work alongside a collaborative multi-vet and RVT team in a modern, bright, spacious hospital that serves an outstanding and devoted clientele. This full-time position is ideal for veterinarians with strong foundations in communication, anesthesia, medicine, surgery, and dentistry. New graduates and recent grads are actively encouraged to apply — this practice is committed to mentoring the next generation of veterinarians.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional medical and surgical care to small animal patients
• Perform routine wellness exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
• Execute preventive and therapeutic dentistry
• Communicate compassionately with clients about treatment options and patient outcomes
• Collaborate with the RVT team and support staff to deliver high-quality care
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture

Requirements

• Valid veterinary license (DVM or equivalent) in Ontario
• Minimum 1 year of veterinary experience (new graduates may be considered with strong academic background)
• Proficiency in small animal medicine, surgery, anesthesia, and dentistry
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Ability to commute reliably to Richmond Hill, ON, or willingness to relocate
• Compassionate, collaborative approach to patient care
