About the Role
Parkland Veterinary Hospital is looking for a small animal veterinarian who wants to practice medicine without the exhaustion of on-call duties. You'll work with a dedicated team in Sylvan Lake, where the focus is on animal health and welfare in a supportive, inclusive environment. The practice is equipped for advanced diagnostics and surgery, giving you the tools to deliver quality care.
This is a flexible opportunity—available as full-time or part-time, permanent position. You'll work a mix of weekdays and some Saturdays, with no standby on-call responsibilities. Hours range from 20 to 40 per week, depending on your preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate small animal veterinary care across general medicine and surgery
- Perform ultrasound examinations and digital dental radiology
- Conduct therapeutic and surgical laser procedures
- Manage in-house laboratory diagnostics

Requirements
- Veterinary degree (DVM or equivalent) with NAVLE and CPE certification required
- Small animal experience and dedication to animal welfare
