The position is available as full-time or part-time permanent employment, starting as soon as possible. You'll work on-site in Etobicoke, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your professional needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose health conditions in animals
• Conduct medical, surgical, and dental procedures as appropriate
• Develop and prescribe individualized treatment plans and medications
• Educate pet owners about preventive care, nutrition, and wellness strategies
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records for all patients
• Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Respond to emergency cases and provide urgent care when needed
• Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current with veterinary medicine advancements

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid veterinary licence to practice in Ontario
• Strong foundational knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common medical conditions
• Excellent communication skills with pet owners and team members
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Compassionate and professional approach to animal and client care
• One year of prior veterinary clinic experience is preferred but not required—new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to veterinary ethical standards
