About the Role

Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Emergency Hospital (MOVH) is seeking an experienced veterinary cardiologist to join a supportive, collaborative team. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized cardiology care and diagnostics for small animal emergency and referral patients
  • Build collaborative relationships with the broader emergency medicine team and referring veterinarians
  • Mentor and coach veterinary students and junior team members along their professional journey
  • Participate in case discussions and contribute to evidence-based medicine practices
  • Engage with pet parents to deliver compassionate, thorough cardiac care and client communication
  • Participate in professional networking and continuing education to stay current in cardiology advances

Requirements

  • Board certification in Cardiology (ACVIM) or completion of a recognized residency training program
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in Canada
  • Strong interpersonal skills with colleagues, pet parents, and the community
