Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures using a range of diagnostic equipment
• Prepare patients, instruments, and equipment for surgery
• Administer and monitor medicines under veterinarian direction
• Build positive client relationships by displaying genuine care, respect, and exceptional customer service
• Contribute to a calm, organized work environment that prioritizes patient and staff wellbeing

Requirements

• Passed the VTNE (Veterinary Technician National Examination)
• Currently in good standing with the provincial regulatory association
• Completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program
• Display genuine care and compassion toward clients and their pets
