About the Role

Martin Veterinary Hospital is seeking an RVT who genuinely connects with clients and their pets. You'll work alongside experienced technicians and veterinarians in a welcoming, collaborative environment where clinical excellence and open communication are built into the culture. As an RVT, you'll assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures—preparing patients and instruments, operating diagnostic equipment, and administering medications under veterinary supervision. Your role includes building positive client relationships through genuine care, respect, and exceptional customer service. Whether you're 72 years into your career or just getting started, this team supports you in developing both your clinical and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures
• Prepare patients, instruments, and equipment for surgery
• Operate diagnostic equipment and gather clinical data
• Administer and monitor medications under veterinary direction
• Build positive relationships with clients through compassionate, respectful interactions
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to the veterinary team

Requirements

• Must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write it
• In good standing with your provincial regulatory association (Ontario Veterinary Medical Association)
• Completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program
