As a Veterinary Assistant at Thomas Glen Erin Animal Hospital, you'll be the bridge between clients and the clinical team, educating pet owners about medications, home care, vaccinations, and preventative health strategies. You'll work alongside experienced RVTs and veterinarians, suggesting and explaining diagnostic procedures while creating a calm, secure environment for every animal that walks through the door.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel and educate clients on medication dosage, purpose, home care instructions, vaccination requirements, and preventative healthcare under the direction of a veterinarian or RVT
• Greet, handle, and treat animals in a way that promotes comfort and safety
• Assist with laboratory procedures and testing, explaining them to clients
• Support the clinical and client care team in a collaborative environment
