About the Role

Crossroads Animal Hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join their established small animal practice in Medicine Hat. This modern, client-focused hospital has built a strong reputation over more than a decade, and they're actively welcoming new graduates alongside experienced veterinarians. You'll work alongside three other DVMs in a setting where mentorship is built into the culture—learning opportunities are genuinely endless here.

The role offers exposure to a diverse range of cases and procedures. You'll be involved in orthopedic, ophthalmic, and dental surgeries, emergency care, ultrasound, and in-house lab diagnostics. The team is passionate about client education and building lasting relationships with their community. You'll be supported by a dedicated, professional team and have access to all the equipment you need to do your best work.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive small animal veterinary care including preventative, surgical, and emergency services
• Perform orthopedic, ophthalmic, and dental surgeries
• Conduct ultrasound and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Manage in-house laboratory diagnostics
• Educate clients and build strong relationships with pet owners
• Collaborate with team members to deliver world-class care

Requirements

• Provincial DVM licence or eligibility to obtain one
• Passion for veterinary medicine
• Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude
• Strong desire to educate clients and build solid relationships
• Excellent communication skills
