Pet Groomer

About the Role

Pet Planet Prince Albert is looking for a detail-oriented Pet Groomer to join their team. You'll work full-time with flexible scheduling options including morning, day, evening, weekend, and shift work, giving you the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life. This is a hands-on position where you'll develop your grooming skills while building strong relationships with our clients and their beloved pets.

You'll be at the heart of our pet care services, delivering quality grooming experiences that keep animals looking and feeling their best. Whether you're just starting your career or have some grooming experience under your belt, you'll find a supportive environment where your skills matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Bathe and shampoo animals with care and attention to detail
• Clip and style animal coats according to breed standards and client preferences
• Conduct anal gland treatments as needed
• Clean animal ears and clip nails safely and professionally
• Perform dental cleaning on domestic animals
• Assist with animal inoculations and treatments
• Keep accurate records of all animals treated

Requirements

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years of experience working in pet grooming or animal care
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call
• Comfortable working with animals of various sizes and temperaments
