About the Role

Don Valley Animal Hospital is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician who genuinely cares about pets and their owners. You'll work alongside experienced RVTs, veterinary assistants, and client care staff in a practice built on communication, respect, and clinical excellence. You'll assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures, using a range of diagnostic equipment, preparing patients and surgical instruments, and administering and monitoring medications under veterinary direction. Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures
• Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment
• Prepare patients, instruments, and equipment for surgery
• Administer and monitor medications under veterinary direction
• Build positive client relationships through compassionate, respectful communication
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets

Requirements

• Passed the VTNE or eligible to write the VTNE
• In good standing with the provincial regulatory association (Ontario)
• Successfully completed a 2- or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program
• Genuine care and compassion for animals and clients

Don Valley Animal Hospital has served the Don Mills community for over 35 years, located west of the D.V.P. on Lawrence Ave. E. across from the Shops on Don Mills.
