Registered Veterinary Technician

About the Role

Willowdale Animal Hospital is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician for a casual, part-time position that offers scheduling flexibility. You'll work a rotation of morning and evening shifts, giving you control over your availability while remaining part of a dynamic, collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

This role is perfect for RVTs who want to balance work with personal priorities without sacrificing career growth. You'll have the opportunity to manage your own client appointments in collaboration with the practice's veterinarians, building meaningful relationships with pet owners while developing your skills within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and technical support during assigned shifts
• Manage inventory tracking and supply organization
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong client relationships
• Work collaboratively with veterinarians and team members on patient cases
• Support practice operations with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Completion of a Registered Veterinary Technician program and current RVT registration
• Previous veterinary experience, including inventory management and tracking
• Strong organizational, customer service, and problem-solving abilities
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a collaborative mindset
• Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to client care
