Kingsway Animal Hospital in Hamilton is seeking a veterinarian ready to make a real impact on pet health and owner relationships. You'll bring expertise in soft tissue surgery, preventative care, and nutritional guidance, while building meaningful relationships with pet owners and colleagues. The practice values mentors and supporters of veterinary students, and offers a structured mentorship program to help you grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical and surgical care for companion animals (soft tissue surgery, preventative care, nutritional guidance)
• Build strong relationships with pet owners and support team members
• Contribute to team-based medicine and collaborative patient care
• Mentor and support veterinary students
• Participate in community outreach and local initiatives
• Engage in professional development through conferences and continuing education

Requirements

• Valid veterinarian licence to practice in Canada
• Proficiency in soft tissue surgery, preventative care, and nutritional guidance
• Commitment to team-based medicine and collaborative practice
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with colleagues, pet owners, and the community
• Passion for mentoring and supporting veterinary students
• Interest in attending conferences and professional networking
• Genuine love for companion animals
