Work Schedule

4-day work week average with consistent scheduling. No on-call duty mentioned.

About the Role

Imagine walking into a 10,000+ sq ft practice where every tool you need for exceptional patient care is right there—and your schedule actually lets you have a life outside these walls. Allandale Veterinary Hospital is an AAHA-certified, Fear Free-focused practice in Barrie that's built around the idea that great medicine happens when your team is happy and supported.

You'll work an average 4-day week with consistent scheduling, and a dedicated exam room assistant will be at your side throughout your shift, handling the paperwork and administrative tasks that typically eat up your day. This means more time focused on what you went to vet school for: connecting with clients and providing excellent care.

The practice offers a diverse caseload that goes well beyond routine appointments. The team has a special interest in reproduction (progesterone testing, transcervical insemination, c-sections), and you'll have access to cutting-edge equipment including an underwater treadmill, dual ultrasound machines, digital and dental x-ray, orthopedic capabilities, and 8 exam rooms. The practice actively encourages associates to develop and pursue their own special interests—whether that's acupuncture, rehabilitation, or something else entirely—with full institutional support.

Barrie offers easy access to outdoor activities, dining, and entertainment, with Highway 400 proximity making it convenient for the Greater Toronto Area as well.
