Associate Veterinarian
No on-call, no evenings, no weekends—just genuine work-life balance at a modern North Bay practice. Join a collaborative team that's serious about both excellent medicine and your wellbeing.
Work Schedule
No on-call, no evenings, no weekends. Daytime schedule (9-5 or flexible hours available).
About the Role
North Bay Animal Hospital is building something special: a veterinary practice where you can deliver exceptional care without sacrificing your personal life. This is a full-time or part-time associate position with a genuine 9-5 schedule (or flexible hours if that suits you better)—no on-call duties, no evening shifts, no weekend rotations. Just dedicated daytime work and your time back.
You'll be joining an experienced, collaborative team in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with 5 exam rooms, in-house IDEXX laboratory, surgical suites, dental stations, and advanced diagnostic capabilities. The practice offers a comprehensive scope: preventative care, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, advanced dentistry, rehabilitation, hospice care, nutrition consulting, and pain management. This breadth means varied cases and continuous learning opportunities within a single day.
North Bay itself is a draw. Surrounded by lakes, forests, and parks, the area delivers year-round outdoor recreation—hiking, camping, fishing, skiing—with a genuine small-town community feel and a notably lower cost of living than larger Canadian cities.
