Client Care Specialist

About the Role

Amherst Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Client Care Specialist to join their team at this busy, progressive small animal clinic in the Kitsilano/Point Grey neighbourhood of Vancouver. You'll be the first point of contact for clients—both in person and over the phone—building genuine connections with pet owners while managing the administrative backbone of the practice.

Your day will involve greeting clients with warmth and professionalism, checking them in efficiently, answering incoming calls with a caring approach, screening inquiries, booking appointments, and taking detailed messages. You'll provide knowledgeable, non-medical information to clients who have questions. Beyond client-facing work, you'll handle a variety of office tasks: receiving and sorting mail, drafting correspondence, completing reports, and managing ad-hoc document requests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, multitasks with ease, and genuinely enjoys providing exceptional service.
