Vet Receptionist

About the Role

Bridlewood Vet Clinic is a small, privately owned small animal practice located in southwest Calgary, and the team is looking for a motivated and reliable receptionist to join their friendly, hardworking group. This is a permanent full-time position offering at least 36 hours per week. You'll be the face of the clinic, managing client interactions, appointments, and daily operations while maintaining calm professionalism even during busy periods. If you have experience in veterinary or client-facing environments and possess genuine care for both animals and people, this role is a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage front desk operations, phone inquiries, and appointment scheduling
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and their pets
• Assist with client care and ensure a calm, welcoming clinic atmosphere
• Multi-task effectively in a busy small animal practice setting
• Work as a collaborative team member during hectic periods

Requirements

• 1 year of veterinary receptionist experience preferred
• 2 years of customer service experience preferred
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent customer service and telephone manner
• Proven ability to multi-task
• Experience working with animals is an asset
• Flexibility and being a Team Player
• Reliability and ability to remain calm under pressure
