About the Role

Clinique Vétérinaire de la Gatineau is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join their Chelsea-based team in a role that emphasizes both clinical excellence and genuine work-life balance. As a core member of the clinical team, you'll manage a varied caseload including routine preventive care, complex medical cases, surgical procedures, and dental work. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive clinical care including preventive medicine, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Perform surgical and dental procedures with proficiency and confidence
• Manage complex cases and respond effectively to emergencies
• Collaborate with RVTs and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Make independent clinical decisions while contributing to a team-based approach
• Mentor junior team members and support ongoing skill development across the clinic

Requirements

• 3–7 years of veterinary experience
• Active Veterinary License in Quebec (or eligible to obtain at time of application)
• Demonstrated proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
• Strong medical expertise with the ability to manage complex cases independently
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Commitment to high standards of patient care and team collaboration

• Guaranteed base salary plus production (no negative accrual): $130,000–$160,000 CAD annually
