You'll be responsible for delivering gold-standard medicine and surgery within a collaborative environment of skilled professionals. Your role includes managing complex cases, handling emergencies with confidence, and making independent clinical decisions. Close partnership with experienced RVTs and Veterinary Assistants means you're never working in isolation; instead, you're part of a genuine team that values communication, respect, and clinical excellence. This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of veterinary experience and demonstrate high medical expertise, including proficiency in surgical and dental procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care with a patient-centered, gentle approach to both routine and emergency cases
• Perform surgical and dental procedures to a high standard of medical expertise
• Make confident independent decisions and manage complex cases effectively
• Mentor and collaborate closely with RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and Client Care Reception staff
• Lead the team through clinical excellence and emotional intelligence
• Respond promptly to emergency situations

Requirements

• DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree
• Hold or be eligible to obtain a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at the time of application
• 3–7 years of veterinary experience
• Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and respond to emergencies
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
