About the Role
Thomas Glen Erin Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant who's passionate about animal care and client education. You'll work under the direction of veterinarians and RVTs, counselling and educating clients on medication dosage, home care, vaccination requirements, and preventative healthcare. You'll suggest and explain laboratory procedures, greet and handle animals with compassion, and help create an environment where pets feel safe and secure.

Key Responsibilities
- Counsel and educate clients on medication dosage, purpose, and home care instructions
- Explain vaccination requirements and preventative healthcare recommendations
- Suggest and explain laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing to clients
- Greet, handle, and treat animals in a calm, compassionate manner
- Support the veterinary and RVT team in delivering high-quality patient care
Requirements
