Key Responsibilities

• Build genuine rapport with clients through active listening and empathy, understanding their concerns and priorities for their pets
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and execute diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures with a focus on delivering highest-quality outcomes while minimizing patient stress
• Communicate clearly with clients about diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive health care options, and nutritional needs
• Maintain accurate client and patient medical/surgical records according to established protocols
• Stay current with evolving medical information and advances in veterinary practice
• Represent the hospital professionally within the community and veterinary profession

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited university
• Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practise in Canada
• Demonstrated commitment to gold-standard medical care and professional ethics
• Strong interpersonal skills—you genuinely care about the people and animals you serve
