About the Role

Westview Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative, growing small animal practice in Powell River, BC. You'll work alongside four other veterinarians and a strong team of RVTs and support staff in a renovated, AAHA-accredited facility. The practice balances wellness visits with urgent care, giving you variety and the chance to build meaningful relationships with clients and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide wellness and urgent care services to small animal patients
• Work collaboratively with four other associate veterinarians and RVT team members
• Utilize digital radiography, ultrasound (including echocardiography), endoscopy, and orthopedic capabilities to deliver high-quality diagnostics and treatment
• Leverage in-house laboratory services for efficient patient care
• Contribute to a supportive, collegial practice environment

Requirements

• Valid DVM licence and eligibility to practise in British Columbia
• Strong clinical skills in small animal medicine and surgery
• Collaborative approach to working with other veterinarians and support staff
• Commitment to providing excellent patient and client care
