The role is full-time and on-site at a 25,000 sq ft facility featuring a 3-Tesla MRI, CT imaging, and c-arm fluoroscopy — tools that make neurology cases both challenging and rewarding. The practice is built on five core principles: quality, compassion, service, innovation, and partnership. You'll be part of a 13-specialist team across 8 specialty departments, working alongside 12 emergency veterinarians.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide board-certified neurological diagnosis and treatment for small animal referral cases
• Utilize advanced imaging (MRI, CT, fluoroscopy) for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Lead daily rounds and contribute to case discussions within the multi-specialty team
• Mentor junior veterinarians and support staff on neurological cases and techniques
• Build strong relationships with referring veterinarians and clients
• Contribute to a collaborative, team-based medicine environment
• Participate in continuing education delivery to the broader VetStrategy network

Requirements

• Board certification in Neurology (ACVIM)
• A collaborative, team-first approach to patient care
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting colleagues and staff
• Strong communication skills and genuine enthusiasm for client education
• Positive attitude and energy — this team culture matters
• Valid veterinary licence in Ontario (or ability to obtain)
