Client Services Representative / Veterinary Receptionist

About the Role

Westview Veterinary Hospital in Powell River is an established, fast-paced veterinary practice looking for a Client Services Representative to join the front desk team. This is a hands-on reception role where you'll be the first point of contact for pet owners and a key communicator within the practice.

You'll answer phones, schedule appointments, process invoicing and payments, maintain electronic medical records, and keep the hospital running smoothly. Your role bridges the gap between clients, the veterinarians, and the clinical team—so strong communication and organisational skills are essential. Saturday shifts are a requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule veterinary appointments
• Process invoicing and client payments
• Maintain and update electronic medical records
• Communicate with clients, veterinarians, and team members
• Perform hospital maintenance tasks including stocking shelves and cleaning exam rooms and reception areas
• Provide professional and confident client service

Requirements

• Previous experience in client service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a large team
• Proficient computer skills
• Previous veterinary clinic experience preferred
• Availability for Saturday shifts (required)
