Why Edmonton: National Geographic included Edmonton in its list of best summer trips (the only Canadian city in 2015), and Forbes recently ranked it among top cities to visit in 2023. The city offers over 7,300 hectares of urban parkland alongside the North Saskatchewan River, world-renowned festivals including Folk Fest, Fringe Festival, and Ice on Whyte, and easy access to Jasper and Banff National Parks for hiking, camping, and skiing. A vibrant new stadium hosts sought-after musical acts, and the city remains highly affordable for settling, working, and travel.
