Own the full customer relationship from day one — build Juno's lifecycle engine that turns first-time pet parents into loyal members. Direct report to VP Marketing, real autonomy, meaningful work in veterinary care.

About the Role

This is your chance to architect customer retention and lifetime value at a company genuinely reshaping Canadian veterinary medicine. You'll own the entire lifecycle—from onboarding through reactivation and win-back—building the segmentation, journeys, and automated flows that keep pet parents engaged and coming back. You're not just managing campaigns; you're designing the systems and strategies that turn acquisition into lasting relationships.

You'll report directly to the VP Marketing with genuine autonomy over strategy and execution. This role sits at the intersection of data, design, and customer psychology—building internal tooling, managing the CRM tech stack, running membership and referral programs, and closing the Voice-of-Customer loop so that what members tell Juno actually shapes the product roadmap. You'll be accountable for the numbers that matter: lifetime value, retention, repeat visit rates, and referred acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own email, SMS, and CRM platform end-to-end—segmentation, deliverability, behaviour-triggered journeys across onboarding, reactivation, win-back, and milestone moments
  • Build and manage the lifecycle tech stack—platform selection, migration, integrations, data syncs, event architecture, and the automated workflows that power personalization at scale
  • Own referral strategy and execution—program design, mechanics, and the flows that drive organic and programmatic growth
  • Lead Voice-of-Customer initiatives—NPS, surveys, and closing the feedback loop so insights drive roadmap decisions in partnership with the Care team
  • Drive measurable impact on lifetime value, retention, repeat visit rates, and referred acquisition—own these KRs and partner across the organization to move the needle
  • Build internal tooling and automation that enables personalized lifecycle marketing at scale

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing at consumer businesses, with at least one role in a subscription or membership business at similar scale
  • Hands-on experience owning an email/SMS/CRM platform—you've built segmentation and journeys yourself and can speak to them in detail
  • Proven track record standing up or migrating a CRM or marketing automation platform (implementation, data model, integrations)—not just operating one someone else built
  • Technical fluency—you build automated journeys in-platform, understand the data connections (events, syncs, APIs/webhooks, attribution), and can troubleshoot without leaning on engineering
  • Experience running a membership, loyalty, or referral program with measurable impact on retention or repeat purchase
  • Owned retention and LTV as business metrics with cohort analysis to support cause-and-effect storytelling
  • Voice-of-Customer and NPS experience, with evidence of turning feedback into action
  • Built AI workflows and systems—hands-on experience creating tools that do real work (not just prompt engineering)
  • Bonus: Experience in regulated industries (health, finance) or health communications; familiarity with multi-location consumer businesses

Benefits

  • Base salary: $90,000–$120,000 CAD per year, plus annual bonus component
  • Direct report to VP Marketing with a genuine seat at the table in shaping Juno's growth trajectory
  • Real ownership and autonomy to build the lifecycle engine from the ground up
  • Room to grow in a company scaling quickly and investing in leaders who build with them
