Located in Belmont, a short drive from London and St. Thomas, this is an opportunity to deliver exceptional veterinary care in a setting that values emotional intelligence, teamwork, and clinical excellence. You'll be managing complex cases, responding to emergencies, and leading with confidence—all while working alongside experienced RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and a supportive front desk team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-standard clinical care across medicine, surgery, and dental procedures
  • Make independent clinical decisions and manage complex emergency cases
  • Mentor and lead the veterinary team, fostering a collaborative environment
  • Deliver diagnostics and surgical interventions with proficiency and confidence
  • Contribute to the practice's commitment to exceptional patient outcomes and client care

Requirements

  • DVM degree and eligibility for (or current holder of) a full General Veterinary License in Ontario
  • 3–7 years of veterinary experience
  • Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to manage complex cases
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and emotional intelligence

Benefits

  • Guaranteed base salary plus production incentive (no negative accrual): $130,000–$160,000 annually
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance (Single/Family options available)
  • Life Insurance
  • Long-Term Disability (employee contribution)
  • Professional Liability and Malpractice Insurance
  • Paid Veterinary Licensing Dues and Provincial Membership Fees
  • Professional Development Allowance for continuing education
  • VIN Membership
  • Veterinary AI Scribe Membership (Fydo DX)
  • Uniform Allowance
  • Flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time)
  • Paid vacation and time off
  • Paid sick days
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Program (mental health, relationship, financial, and nutritional support)
  • Access to Veterinary Learning Platform and on-site CE opportunities
  • Voluntary RRSP/TFSA Contribution Plan
  • Generous referral program and recognition programs
  • Employee pet discounts
  • Pet bereavement day
  • Annual performance review
  • Networking and collaboration opportunities with other DVMs across the VetCare community
