Amberlea Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join their skilled team on a part-time basis (approximately 17 hours per week). Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures
• Perform dental procedures with confidence and proficiency
• Manage complex cases and medical decision-making independently
• Respond to emergency situations professionally and calmly
• Mentor and lead support staff including RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and reception team
• Maintain high standards of medical expertise and patient care
• Contribute to a collaborative, respectful clinical environment

Requirements

• 3–7 years of veterinary experience
• Hold or be eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at time of application
• Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
• Ability to manage complex cases and make independent clinical decisions
• Strong communication and leadership skills with emotional intelligence
• Commitment to exceptional patient care and team collaboration
