Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care for small animal patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient management
• Perform surgical and dental procedures with confidence and medical expertise
• Manage complex cases and respond decisively to emergency situations
• Work collaboratively with RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and Client Care Reception to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Contribute to a positive team culture through open communication and mutual respect
• Utilize leadership and emotional intelligence to support team members and mentorship within the practice

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• 3–7 years of veterinary experience
• Hold or be eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in British Columbia at time of application
• Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
• Ability to make independent clinical decisions and manage complex cases
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
