About the Role

Lincoln Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join their thriving Coquitlam practice. As a DVM, you'll take the lead on clinical cases, handle surgery and dental procedures with confidence, and help mentor the broader team. You'll work alongside skilled RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and Client Care staff who share your commitment to compassionate care. The role values independent decision-making, complex case management, and a genuine ability to respond to emergency situations with expertise and calm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care and medical decision-making across a diverse small animal caseload
  • Perform surgical and dental procedures to a high standard
  • Manage complex cases and emergency situations independently and confidently
  • Collaborate with RVTs and support staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • Contribute to team development and mentorship as appropriate
  • Maintain detailed medical records and communicate effectively with pet owners

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of veterinary experience
  • Hold or be eligible to hold a Private Practice license in British Columbia at the time of application
  • Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
  • Ability to manage complex cases and respond to emergencies
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
