Your primary focus will be clinical care—managing complex cases, performing surgery and dental procedures, and responding confidently to emergencies. You'll leverage your medical knowledge and leadership skills to deliver outstanding veterinary medicine while working alongside experienced RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and Client Care Reception staff who share your commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for small animal patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures
• Perform dental procedures with proficiency and technical skill
• Manage complex medical cases and respond to emergency situations with confidence and sound judgment
• Make independent clinical decisions and provide medical leadership to the team
• Maintain the highest standards of patient care and medical practice
• Collaborate with RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and reception staff to support a positive team environment
• Contribute to a culture of communication, respect, and clinical excellence

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• 3–7 years of veterinary practice experience
• Hold or be eligible to hold a Private Practice licence in British Columbia at time of application
• Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
• Strong medical expertise and ability to manage complex cases independently
• Excellent communication and emotional intelligence skills
• Commitment to work-life balance and team collaboration
