About the Role

McEwen-Frontenac Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative team in Kingston. This is a replacement position offering the flexibility to work part-time or full-time—you and the practice will find the arrangement that works best. Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical veterinary care with proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
• Manage complex cases and respond confidently to emergencies
• Make independent clinical decisions and lead with medical knowledge and emotional intelligence
• Collaborate with experienced RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and reception staff to deliver exceptional care
• Contribute to team mentorship and professional development culture

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario
• 3–7 years of veterinary experience
• High standard of medical expertise in surgery and dentistry
• Confidence managing complex cases and emergencies independently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
