Associate Veterinarian

About the Role

Queen West Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join a progressive, well-rounded small animal practice in the heart of Toronto's Queen West neighbourhood. This is a 4-day-per-week position with one dedicated surgery day and a rotational Saturday schedule—designed to give you real work-life balance without sacrificing the medicine you love.

You'll be working alongside an experienced 3-DVM team in a modern facility equipped with dental and surgical suites, ultrasound, and AI note-taking technology to streamline your day. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive small animal veterinary care across general medicine and surgery
• Lead one dedicated surgery day per week
• Participate in rotational Saturday clinics as scheduled
• Collaborate with the 3-DVM team on clinical cases and practice decisions
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements

• Current veterinary licence (DVM/VMD) valid in Ontario
• Minimum 2 years of small animal general practice experience
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to excellent medicine
• Collaborative team approach and open communication style
• Initiative and genuine interest in professional growth

Benefits

• Base salary: $125,000–$145,000 annually (based on experience)
