About the Role

Tri Lake Animal Hospital & Referral Centre in Lake Country is expanding its emergency services and seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join a supportive, growth-focused team. You'll work in a modern, well-equipped 16,500 sq ft facility featuring eight exam rooms, four operating rooms, a dedicated dental suite, advanced imaging (Philips Affiniti 70 ultrasound, Aquilion 64-slice CT scanner), and an in-house lab. The hospital serves a diverse caseload including exotic patients and has recently launched 24/7 emergency coverage.

You'll be part of a growing hybrid practice that has served the Interior of British Columbia for over 40 years, now expanding specialty services in surgery, rehabilitation, pain management, behaviour, and internal medicine. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency and critical care to small animal patients in a 24/7 setting
• Perform diagnostic assessments and emergency procedures using advanced imaging and laboratory facilities
• Mentor and train emergency veterinarians and RVTs, helping the team flourish
• Build trust and loyalty with pet owners through exemplary customer service
• Work collaboratively within a team environment, maintaining focus and composure under pressure
• Contribute to the hospital's ongoing expansion of emergency and specialty services

Requirements

• Valid DVM degree or equivalent, enabling practice in Canada
• Excellent diagnostic and critical care skills
• Strong leadership abilities and a positive team player attitude
• Proven organizational skills and ability to manage pressure
• Exemplary customer service skills that build client loyalty
• Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and develop junior veterinarians and technicians
