Piper Creek Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Managing Veterinarian to lead their collaborative practice in Red Deer, Alberta. As Managing Veterinarian, you'll partner with your Hospital Manager as part of the Hospital Leadership Team to oversee medical direction, financial performance, hospital operations, and regulatory compliance. You'll mentor your team, foster a culture of servant leadership, and set the standards that define your clinic's care. The NVA Canada network provides guidance and access to a community of fellow MDVMs who understand the unique demands of leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical direction and mentorship to the veterinary and support team
• Lead hospital operations alongside the Hospital Manager as part of the Hospital Leadership Team
• Oversee financial performance and ensure regulatory compliance
• Establish and maintain Standards of Care that reflect the clinic's commitment to quality medicine
• Create a culture of teamwork and servant leadership
• Work collaboratively with divisional leadership for guidance and support

Requirements

• Valid veterinary licence in Alberta
• Leadership experience or proven readiness to transition into a leadership role
• Passion for mentorship and team development
• Strong commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine and client service
