Reception and Customer Service Specialist

About the Role

Clinique Vétérinaire de la Gatineau is looking for a warm, organized professional to be the friendly face and voice of their Chelsea clinic. In this reception and customer service role, you'll greet clients with genuine compassion, manage phone inquiries with care, and keep the administrative side running smoothly—all while helping create the positive, collaborative environment the practice is known for.

You'll welcome clients and their pets, answer phones from current and prospective clients, book appointments, take detailed messages, and provide general (non-medical) information. Administrative work includes handling mail, drafting communications, generating reports, and processing document requests as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Greet and register clients warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Answer incoming calls with courtesy and attentiveness; screen calls appropriately
• Schedule appointments and capture detailed messages
• Provide general (non-medical) information to clients
• Manage mail: receive, sort, distribute, and send outgoing correspondence
• Draft memos and other communications
• Produce reports and process ad-hoc document requests
• Perform various administrative tasks to support the clinic's operations
