Key Responsibilities

• Provide soft tissue surgical procedures and preventative care to companion animals
• Offer nutritional advice and comprehensive health assessments
• Collaborate with colleagues in a team-based medicine approach
• Mentor and coach veterinary students
• Build strong relationships with pet parents and support staff
• Participate in professional networking and continuing education opportunities
• Deliver the highest standard of medicine to keep pets healthy and happy

Requirements

• Valid veterinarian licence allowing practice in Canada (BCVMA)
• Experience in soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and nutritional counselling
• Commitment to team-based medicine practices
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues and pet parents
• Passion for coaching and mentoring veterinary students
• Interest in attending professional conferences and networking
• Love for all companion animals

• Competitive compensation: $115,000–$130,000 per year (based on experience and skills)
