About the Role

Blue Sky Animal Hospital is welcoming an experienced Veterinarian (DVM) to their growing team in North Bay. This is a full-time position (4–5 days per week), offering the flexibility to adjust your schedule based on your needs. You'll work alongside 3 RVTs in a practice that's been serving the community for over 20 years, delivering high-quality, compassionate veterinary medicine in a collaborative, knowledgeable environment.

North Bay sits on the shores of Lake Nipissing — the Gateway to the North. Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and medical expertise across a range of small animal cases
• Perform surgical and dental procedures with confidence and proficiency
• Manage complex cases and respond effectively to emergencies
• Make independent clinical decisions and demonstrate strong medical judgment
• Mentor and collaborate with the RVT team, contributing to a supportive workplace culture
• Deliver exceptional veterinary medicine guided by high standards of care

Requirements

• 3–7 years of veterinary experience
• Hold or be eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at the time of application
• Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
• Ability to manage complex cases independently and respond to emergencies
• Strong medical expertise and emotional intelligence
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
