Work Schedule

Scheduled shifts: approximately 2 shifts per week (8–10 hours) plus 2 Saturdays monthly (6 hours). This is routine shift-based scheduling, not on-call standby duty.

About the Role

Looking for flexibility without sacrificing clinical depth? Stoneybrook Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinarian to join a thriving general practice in London, Ontario. You'll work alongside experienced RVTs and a collaborative team that genuinely values communication and clinical excellence. With approximately 2 shifts per week (8–10 hours) plus 2 Saturdays monthly (6 hours), this part-time role offers the work-life balance many vets are seeking—and the potential to expand to full-time if you'd like.

You'll have access to a fully equipped practice featuring IDEXX in-house lab, ultrasound, surgical laser, cold therapeutic laser, and EZVET software. Whether you're managing routine care, complex cases, or emergencies, you'll have the tools and support to deliver excellent patient care. The practice is conveniently located near shopping, public transit, and all London city amenities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide primary clinical care for cats and dogs across medical, surgical, and dental cases
  • Perform surgical and dental procedures with confidence and proficiency
  • Manage complex cases and respond to emergencies independently
  • Collaborate with experienced RVTs and support staff to maintain high clinical standards
  • Contribute to a supportive, team-focused practice environment

Requirements

  • Current or eligible for a General Practice Registered Veterinarian license in Ontario
  • 3–7 years of veterinary experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
  • Ability to make independent clinical decisions and manage complex cases
  • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
