Veterinarian (DVM)

About the Role

Thomas Glen Erin Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinarian with 3–7 years of experience to join their highly skilled team in Mississauga. This is a full-time position in a unique, collaborative environment where you'll deliver high-quality clinical care alongside experienced RVTs and support staff who genuinely value communication and teamwork.

You'll take on primary responsibility for clinical care, managing complex cases and surgical procedures with confidence and independence. Your medical expertise, surgical proficiency, and emotional intelligence will help guide the team while delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical veterinary care and medical decision-making for small animal patients
• Perform surgical and dental procedures with high standards of medical expertise
• Manage complex cases and respond to emergencies with confidence
• Lead by example and contribute to a supportive team environment through communication and collaboration
• Mentor and work alongside RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and Client Care Reception staff

Requirements

• 3–7 years of veterinary experience
• Hold or be eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at the time of application
• Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and make independent clinical decisions
• Interest in or experience with exotic pet medicine is an asset
