About the Role
If you're a board-certified internal medicine specialist looking for a role that balances clinical excellence with mentorship and lifestyle, the CARE Centre at Calgary Animal Referral & Emergency is calling. You'll manage a high-volume, diverse caseload in a fully equipped referral environment alongside specialists in radiology, neurology, oncology, dentistry, dermatology, ophthalmology, cardiology, and critical care. The practice is committed to collaboration, excellent client service, and work-life balance—no heroic solo practice burnout here.

Beyond clinical work, you'll have meaningful opportunities to supervise and mentor interns and final-year veterinary students from the University of Calgary, contributing to the next generation of veterinarians. The facility operates with on-site emergency and critical care teams handling after-hours and weekend coverage, so you're working within a structured, supported system.
